Obs:

A statistical method is used to protect the data of individuals in the statistics presented. For this reason, the presented totals do not always equal the sum of their reported components. See also section 2.2.6 Model assumptions in the quality declaration documentation on Statistics Sweden’s website. The statistics are intended to describe the location of the workplaces with which the employed people are associated. Since this is not the same as presenting the employed part of the population by their physical location during the daytime when work is performed, the term “daytime population” is not used. Consequently, the term 'night-time population' is not used either in the reporting according to region of residence. The statistics are by month. Quarterly and annual data is calculated as the average of the months included. As of 2023, the retirement age was raised from 65 to 66 years. For this reason, statistics are reported for age groups 16-64 and 20-64 as well as for age groups 16-65 and 20-65.
