Obs:

The statistics refer to study sessions that started each year respectively. For example, applicants in 2015 refers to all those who applied to study sessions that began in 2015. An applicant is defined by the following criteria:

• The applicant must have submitted an application that at the very least contains information about the applicant’s name and personal identity number (or name and date of birth).
• The applicant has submitted their application within the application period (within the ordinary or extended application period).
Statistics is counted net as the number of applicants, the number of qualified applicants and the number of admitted students at the start. This means that once the number of applicants is reported, grouped by various education data, such as field of education or county, the number of unique applicants per study domain is counted. Persons who have applied to several study programmes in different study domains are counted once in each domain.
The number of admitted students at the start refers to the number of persons studying three weeks after the study session began.
To prevent disclosure of information, random rounding off was applied in the table. Cell values 1 and 2 have been rounded off to either 0 or 3 with predetermined probabilities. This is why the study domains sometimes do not add up to the total. Median age is calculated only if there are at least three people in each cell.
