With the property tax assessment for the year 2016, the Swedish Tax Agency has changed two type codes for multi-dwelling and commercial building units. Before year 2016 the type codes had the following indication “320 Unit for multi-dwelling and commercial buildings, mainly residential buildings” and “325 Unit for multi-dwelling and commercial buildings, mainly non-residential buildings”. From the year 2016 the type codes has the following indications “320 Unit for multi-dwelling and commercial buildings, residential buildings” and “325 Unit for multi-dwelling and commercial buildings, non-residential buildings”. This means that the units which previously had both residential and non-residential buildings have moved to the type code “321 Unit for multi-dwelling and commercial buildings, residential- and non-residential buildings”.

For multi-dwelling and commercial buildings sold in 1988–1993 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 1988. For the years 1994–1999 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 1994. For the years 2000–2003 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2000. For the years 2004–2006 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2004. For the years 2007–2009 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2007. For the years 2010–2012 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2010. For the years 2013–2015 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2013. For the years 2016–2018 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2016. For the years 2019–2021 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2019. From 2022 the purchase-price-coefficient is calculated as the purchase price according to the assessed value for 2022.
