Industrial inventories increased in the first quarter 2021

Total inventories in industry increased by SEK 1.5 billion in the first quarter, which corresponds to an increase of 0.6 percent in volume. The level of input goods in total industry decreased by SEK 2.3 billion and the level of finished goods and goods in progress increased by SEK 3.8 billion.

Since the previous publication, the development in total industrial inventories in the fourth quarter 2020 has been revised downwards by SEK 0.7 billion to a decrease of SEK 5.8 billion.
