Protected nature in this table is national parks, nature reserves, nature management areas, biotope protection areas (in forests and other land) and the Royal National City Park. Region is locality code, name of locality and name of municipality. A locality consists of a group of buildings having at least 200 inhabitants. The table consists of all localities with more than 10 000 inhabitants. 2020 localities have been used in the calculation of statistics for 2020, 2021, 2022. Previous versions of localities have been used in the calculation of statistical values for previous years. **Localities located in more than one municipality is registered on the municipalty where the largest part of the locality is.
