A statistical method is used to protect the data of individuals in the statistics presented. For this reason, the presented totals do not always equal the sum of their reported components. The table refers to immigration of individuals of working age. For the reporting groups consisting of immigrants from third countries with work permits, labour immigration can be described in direct terms. For the reporting groups consisting of immigrants from the EU/EEA and accompanying partners from third countries, different rules regarding the right of residence apply. In these cases, it is assumed that the individuals constitute a potential labour force.
