Data marked with .. includes classified information or missing data. Methodological changes In connection with the publishing of April 2015 some methodological changes have been introduced. The time series have been calculated back to 2000 in order to decrease possible level shifts and breaks in the time series, which have resulted in revisions in some historical series. In connection with the publication of reference month January 2021, methodological changes relating to the calculation of production in 07 (metal ore mines) and 30 (industry for other transport equipment) have been implemented. As a result, statistics for these activities and linked aggregates have been revised from January 2015 and onwards. In connection with the publication of reference month November 2021, methodological changes relating to the calculation of production in NACE 10-12 (food products, beverage and tobacco industry) NACE 19 (petroleum industry) and NACE 17.11 (pulp industry) have been implemented. As a result, statistics for these activities and linked aggregates have been revised from September 2014 and onwards. Revisions In connection with the publication of April 2021, statistics for the industry for electrical equipment (C27) and all linked aggregates and total private sector were revised from September 2020 and onwards, as a result of new information being submitted to Statistics Sweden. In connection with the publication on 2021-10-06, the Industrial Production Index has been corrected from reference month January 2020 to July 2021. The correction affects values regarding the petroleum industry (19), the total industry sector (B+C), and all aggregates that include NACE 19. For the total industry sector, the largest correction of yearly change in calendar adjusted figures is -0.8 percentage points. In connection with the publication of reference month October 2021, statistics for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry (C20–21) and all linked aggregates were revised from January 2021 until June 2021, as a result of new information being submitted to Statistics Sweden. In connection with the publication of reference month April 2022, the statistics for Manufacturing of machinery and equipment (SNI 28) was revised from the reference month of January 2021 to March 2022, as well as all aggregates where the industry is included. This since new information was received by Statistics Sweden. In connection with the publication of reference month September 2022, statistics for electricity, gas, steam and hot water plants (SNI 35) and all linked aggregates were revised from April 2022 and onwards, as a result of new information being submitted to Statistics Sweden. 2023-06-09: As of reference year 2023, there have been changes to the statistical unit kind-of-activity unit. In addition, from April 2023, calculated turnover data from declared VAT data to the Swedish Tax Agency is used on a monthly basis for small and medium-sized enterprises in industries (SNI 07–33). The changes are introduced with the ambition to increase the quality and streamline the production of the functional statistics that describe individual activities in the economy, for example the production of industries. Results reflecting the changes have been calculated back to the reference month April 2022. In the Statistics Database, values for the periods April 2022 to March 2023 have been revised.
