The tax ratio refers to compulsory total tax revenues in relation to GDP. The last two years is considered preliminary. Taxes on production and imports to EU consists of e.g., custom duties, agricultural duties and sugar fees. The Premium Pension Scheme and other defined contribution pension schemes are not included in general government. Concerning voluntary and imputed social contributions, it represents the counterpart to social benefits paid directly by employers (i.e., not linked to employer´ actual contributions) to their employees or former employees and other eligible persons.
