Obs:

Locality
Since 1960 Statistics Sweden has defined areas with continuous buildings and a population of at least 200 inhabitants. Localities thus include everything from the largest cities to small areas with only 200 inhabitants. Statistics Sweden does not have its own definition of sparsely populated areas or countryside areas.
Land area
Land area is presented in the table. It is calculated as the total area minus the water area. The real estate map of Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority) with the scale 1:10 000 is used when calculating water areas. All areas have been calculated in SWREF99 TM, spherical method. One hectare is 10 000 square metres, or 0.01 m2, that is, the area of a square measuring 100 m x 100 m.
Holiday home area
Concentration of at least 50 buildings classified as holiday homes. Distance between holiday homes is no more than 150 metres.
Holiday home
One- or two-dwelling building with no registered population
One- or two-dwelling building
Building with type code 120 (farming unit developed), 213 (one- or two-dwelling building, building value less than SEK 50 000), 220 (one- or two-dwelling building unit, dwelling for year-round use), 225 (building on a leasehold/someone elses property)
Buildings in total

Buildings in total do not include supplementary buildings.
A building is defined by the Swedish Planning and Building Act as:
A permanent structure intended for occupation by people consisting of a roof and/or walls and is permanently placed on the ground or completely or partially below the ground or permanently placed in water.
