Footnotes

The table contains information about land with mining areas, quarries and pits.
Pits and mines Consists of land with pits, quarries and mines. Land with pits and quarries is used for the extraction or collection of rocks, sand and other material from quarries and sandpits, or peat from peat pits, in order to utilize the material for trade or own use. Land with mines are mining areas used for the extraction of minerals in open-pit or underground mines, usually in conjunction with mineral processing within the same area, resulting in the separation of commercially valuable minerals from their ores.
