Footnotes

The Percentage of all refers to the mean and median value for different groups reported as the value in relation to the mean och median value of the whole population (at the national level). For example, 126% means that a certain group has a disposable income that is 26 percent higher than the value of the whole population and 83% means that the income is 17 percent lower than the value of the whole population.

Income definition
Disposable income is the sum of all taxable and tax-free income minus taxes and negative transfers. Incomes from capital gains/losses, that is, the gain/loss arising from a sale (realization) of assets, for example, stocks, mutual funds or real estate are included.

Incomes are equivalised, which means that the household disposable income is adjusted for household size by using a weight system. The unit of measurement is equivalised disposable income for persons.

Region of birth
Europe except EU28 and the Nordic countries includes persons born in the Soviet Union. North America also includes Central America and Oceania also includes Australia and New Zealand.
The classification of region of birth refers to the latest reference year.
