Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Number of selected data cells are:
(maximum number allowed is 150 000)

Presentation on screen is limited to 1 000 rows and 30 columns

Number of selected cells exceeds the maximum allowed 150 000

Obs:

Data not available (..). Summations may differ between tables due to rounding. Wind power data are collected from the basic data of the Electricity Certificate System. Pump storage is included in hydropower. Data regarding 2011-2021 for Solar power are collected from another survey, Grid connected photovoltaic systems (EN0123). Only grid connected systems are included, where a system is defined as one generating unit. Electricity generation from PV systems cannot be measured on a national level. Therefore it is estimated by taking the known installed generator capacity (provided by net operators) multiplied by 950 full load hours. As of 2022, data for solar power will be taken from the monthly electricity statistics. Correction 2024-10-24: Data regarding wind power and its distribution between bidding areas have been corrected.

Number of plants

Number of plants: The population in the survey only includes companies that have electricity production with their own power source of at least 100 kW. That means that that many smaller hydro power plants are excluded. This does not have any significant impact on the total production or the total installed power, but a big impact on the number of plants published.
