Obs:

The population includes all persons who have been received for settlement by the municipality sometime during the period 1997 and onwards and were 20–64 years old and recorded in the population register at 31/12 in the year of reception for settlement in the municipality. People who have emigrated or died have been removed from the population as of the year in which they are no longer recorded in the population register (i.e. emigrated or died). The calculations are thus based on those who are still recorded in the population register in the year concerned. For each year after the reception year, the proportion of persons is calculated who, until this year inclusive, have received initial income from work or been registered as self-employed. Here, persons are included who, according to the Register-Based Labour Market Statistics (RAMS) have the status of employment 1 (= gainfully employed) or 5 (= not gainfully employed, but with a statement of earnings and deductions for tax from an employer or who have submitted tax returns for passive business activity during the year). For each of following a cohort, the population will age one year. This means for instance that persons who were received for settlement by a municipality in 1997 and who were then in the age group 20–64, will be between 30 and 74 years old ten years later when the calculation is made for 2007.
