Obs:

To prevent disclosure of information, random rounding off was applied in the table. Cell values 1 and 2 have been rounded off to either 0 or 3 with predetermined probabilities. This is why the study domains sometimes do not add up to the total. The statistics refer to study sessions that started, were ongoing or finished each year respectively. For example, students in 2017 refer to all those who studied in sessions that were ongoing in 2017. The number of admitted students refers to persons who have been students three weeks after the start of the program. Those who have been added during the course of the education and those who have dropped out of the education are included. This means that everyone who has participated in at least one list of students for a study program is included. The number of students refers to active students on study programmes that have been going on for at least one day during an intended period. An active student must at least be on one student list for an intended period.
The start and end dates for a student are set after the start or end date of the study programme or the requisition period, since there is no exact information about when a student starts and stops studying.
From 2018 onwards, actual students are reported, taking into account the student´s graduation date, start, interruptions, and study breaks.
Graduates refer to higher vocational education entrants who have fulfilled all conditions for the degree. Graduates are reported to the end year of a study program.
For graduates, there is a lag in the statistics due to late additions. Data for the latest reference year are therefore reported in November.
Graduation rate is calculated as the percentage of graduates of high vocational education entrants who conducted studies on programs that give the degree. One person is counted once for each study programme and can thus be included in statistics twice for the same year. Field of education MYH refers to the classification of programmes in the fields of education used by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education (MYH). The fields of education are based on the SUN 2020 classification. The applicant´s upper secondary education refers to the orientation of the applicant’s upper completed secondary school programme. Data for the latest reference year are reported in June. Refers to the applicant’s highest level of education completed up to and including the spring term of the relevant year. Data for the latest reference year are reported in June. Swedish background: Persons born in Sweden with at least one parent also born in Sweden.

Foreign background: Persons born in Sweden whose parents were both born abroad, and persons born abroad.
