Obs:

Note that higher vocational education is not organised into semesters or academic year. The presentation per academic year was set up to facilitate comparability with other forms of education. Graduates refers to admitted students who have met all requirements to graduate. Graduates are reported based on the final year of a programme session. This means that people who have not completed their education at the end of the programme session and make late additional submissions before they meet the requirements to graduate are still reported based on when the programme session ended. As from academic year 2017/18, the graduation date of each graduate is used to delimit the academic year. Graduates after 31 July 2018 have been excluded from the statistics. It happens that people attain several degrees during an academic year. For these people, a priority approach is applied to ensure they are only reported once per academic year. If a person has a degree from several programmes in the same academic year, the longest programme is reported. Field of education
MYH refers to the classification of programmes in the fields of education used by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education (MYH). The fields of education are based on the SUN 2020 classification.
Employment
Employment refers to employment status in November according to the register-based labour market statistics, academic participation during the autumn semester according to the register of study participation and information on population registration on 31 December of the current year according to the register of the total population.
As from reference year 2019, a new data source (monthly employer declarations at individual level (AGI)) and a new method are used to classify who is working. Studies conducted on the effect of this change on labour market statistics generally indicate an increase in the proportion of people who are working under the new method. For example, those who have received a low wage payment, and thus probably do not work to such a large extent, have been classified as working if they received a payment in November. This means that among young people, the percentage of people working is higher compared with the previous method. Comparison of statistics concerning 2019 and earlier reference years must be made with great caution.

Income from work is not the same as salary and wages. Earned income, that is, income from employment, is affected by the proportion of the year during which the person was in work, absent from work, full time or part time work, and factors such as overtime compensation. This is why income is a combination of how much the person worked and the size of their salary. This comprises income from employment and income from business activities. In addition to earned income, income from employment also includes income from pension, sickness benefit and other taxable compensations from authorities such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
The most recent available data refers to follow-up year 2019. Only groups with at least 30 graduates and graduates who work are presented With regard to income, only groups with at least 30 graduates who work are reported.
