2008

Uppgifterna om separationer under 2008 har korrigerats den 12 juli 2010. I tidigare publicerad statistik har antalet separationer på grund av att en förälder emigrerat underskattats.
Separated parents a given year are defined as persons who were registered at different addresses 31/12 that year but who were registered at the same address 31/12 the year before and where none of them had died during the year. If both parents the child lives with have emigrated, they are still being considered cohabiting. Shortcomings in the statistics means that cohabitants without joint children are misclassified as single parents. This also means that the number of children with cohabiting parents are underestimated. For the same reason, the number of children in cohabiting families and reconstructed families that have experienced a separation during the year are underestimated.
