Net income is the sum of all taxable and non-taxable income less taxes and other negative transfers (such as repaid study loans).

Country of birth: EU excluding Nordic countries also includes people born in the Soviet Union. North America also includes Central America and Oceania also includes Australia and New Zealand. People with unknown country of birth are included in the total for foreign-born but are not included in any subgroup.
Numbers of years in Sweden for foreign-born refers to the total number of years a person has been in Sweden, taking into account several immigrations and emigrations.
Statistical methods is used to protect the data of individuals in the statistics presented. For this reason, the presented totals do not always equal the sum of their reported components.
