Correction 2015-06-09
For a number of observations, the type of ownership has been coded incorrectly within the groups of natural persons and limited companies and similar. The statistics in type of ownership do not hold sufficiently good quality and therefore all statistics published for these categories have been removed for the years 2003-2012. No statistics are published for type of ownership from 2013. The group of privately owned properties are not affected.
Correction 2015-06-09, in the column for margin of error, the standard deviation has been erroneously reported for 2003-2012. This has been corrected. As from 2013, the following variables are no longer reported: interest subsidies (SEK millions), interest subsidies in percent of interest rates, and interest subsidies SEK/sqm total area. This is because government interest rate subsidies for new construction and conversion of rental and tenant-owned multi-dwelling buildings have been discontinued completely following a subsidy phase-out that started in 2007. The margin of error amendment made on 9 June 2015 was incorrect. The margin of error is now correct. There are no statistics for 2014 because the survey was not carried out that year.

Revenues and expenditure

For private real estate, data on interest rates, depreciation, and loans are not collected as from 2007 due to difficulties in collection, as separate reporting by property is missing more and more frequently. This does not apply for municipal housing companies and housing cooperatives, in which data is collected from the company or association
