Break in time series 2009
As a result of re-organisation within the pharmacy trade those parts that do not refer to retail trade have been removed from January 2009 onwards. This results in a break in the time series in the form of a lower turnover level from 2009. However, the turnover in 2010 is compared with the new lower level of turnover for 2009 and relevant development figures can be calculated. The revision affects the pharmacy trade, the durables trade and all of retail trade. The development for total retail trade has been revised downwards by 1.2 to 1.6 percentage points for each month in 2009.
