ICT usage in enterprises is a sample survey, which is why the reported percentages are point estimates, with some uncertainty. Estimates where the margin of error is greater than 10 percentage points are considered too uncertain and are therefore not reported; these are indicated by (..) in the tables. The same indication is used if estimation is missing, eg. as a result of the fact that the issue in question has not been asked every year.

Margin of error, ±

The margin of error is equal to the mean error of the point estimate * 1,96. A 95% confidence interval is given by the point estimate ± margin of error.
