gross cash wages

Wage income refers to gross cash wages, emolument and taxable benefits (for example travel allowance). Furthermore, sickness benefit, unemployment benefit, adult education benefit and partial pension are included. Travel allowance above standard amount and car allowance above determined amount are treated as wage. Even commuting expenses for travel between home and workplace are treated as gross cash wage.

reimbursements of expenses

Reimbursements of expenses refer to telephone expenses and other deductible expenses in the service.

non-pensionable allowances

Non-pensionable allowances refer to taxable allowances that are not basis for employee benefits. This is for example life annuities, some income from close companies and inherited royalty. Payments from profit-sharing foundations and some payments for athletes are also reported here. Furthermore, maintenance payment due to court decision or agreement with former spouse is included. Voluntary maintenance payment is not taxable. From 2002, even income that is basis for social security charges, as well as and income from close companies that is reported as income from employment, are included.
