absentee owner

An assessment unit is counted as absentee-owned if the owner lives outside the municipality where the assessment unit is situated. Those with several owners are classified as absentee-owned if at least half of the owners live outside the municipality. Half absentee-owned are those assessment units that are owned equally by resident and absentee owners. Owners where there is no information of which municipality they live in are counted as absentee owners, they are supposed to be living abroad.
