Marriages and divorces are based on all registered residents in Sweden that during the year were married or divorced. The definition of marriage and divorce changed in 2015. Previously published estimates have been revised for the period 2000 - 2014.
Before 2000 were the number of marriages and divorces based on the number of registered women who during the year had been married or divorced. 0330 Knivsta Since 1 January 2003, a new regional division has been established. Parts of Uppsala municipality have formed a new municipality called Knivsta. 0380 Uppsala Since 1 January 2003, a new regional division has been established.
