Number of years abroad refer to time spent abroad before (next) immigration to Sweden. Persons who have not returned to Sweden are classified as emigrated, not returned. Person who returned to Sweden the same year as the year of emigration are not included in the statistics.

The classification by level of educational attainment is according to the Swedish national educational classification (SUN)
