1985

For the 1985 elections the Centre Party cooperated with the Christian Democratic Party (KDS) under the Swedish name centern. The votes for KDS can be found under the Centre Party.

For the 1994 elections the constituencies changed. Fyrstad constituency and Malmöhus county constituency were split up to form Malmö municipal constituency, Malmöhus county northern constituency and Malmöhus county southern constituency. Comparisons over time can not be made. In 1998, some constituencies were given new names. Kristianstad county constituency became Skåne county northern and eastern constituency, Malmöhus county northern constituency became Skåne county western constituency and Malmöhus county southern constituency became Skåne county southern constituency. Bohuslän constituency became Västra Götaland county western constituency, Älvsborg county northern constituency became Västra Götaland county northern constituency, Älvsborg county southern constituency became Västra Götaland county southern constituency and Skaraborg county constituency became Västra Götaland county eastern constituency. From Skaraborg county constituency, the municipalities of Mullsjö and Habo were moved to Jönköping county constituency. Kopparberg county constituency became Dalarna county constituency. The Riksdag decided 2005-11-30 that Heby municipality should be transfered from Västmanlands county to Uppsala county 2007-01-01.

Nykvarn has broken away from the municipality of Södertälje. 1994: Bollebygd and Lekeberg are new municipalities in the elections. Bollebygd has broken away from the municipality of Borås and Lekeberg has broken away from the municipality of Örebro. 1991: Gnesta and Trosa are new municipalities in the elections. Gnesta and Trosa have broken away from the municipality of Nyköping. 1982: Salem, Österåker, Essunga, Malå and Bjurholm are new municipalities in the elections.
