The survey population is divided into the employed population and the salaried population. The employed population includes all those who were employed with a salary during the measurement month. Those on leave of absence who have not received a salary during the measurement month and employees abroad are not included. The salaried population includes everyone, except those who are exempt in the employed population, who were employed with a salary during the measurement month and who were age 18 but not age 65. The information on the numbers of the survey is from the employed population, while the information on salaries is from the salaried population. The information on salaries for the most recent month is preliminary, the salary information for the same month one year before (and months prior to that) is definitive, while the salary information for the months in between is preliminary, plus corrections for retroactive pay. The information in this table presents information according to NACE rev.1 up to and including December 2002. Thereafter as of January 2003 the information is according to NACE rev.1.1.
