Income standard (median)

Income standard = ratio between household´s disposable income and household´s basic consumption. Household´s basic consumption consists of the national norm for social assistance in 2010, standard housing cost, costs for household electricity by size of household, childcare costs, local transport for persons age 18 or older, union dues and unemployment insurance costs for employees who work at least 50 percent, and home insurance. Basic consumption has been created for the year 2010, which means that basic consumption of 2010 is used as the norm for all years.
