Obs:

As from 2013, the following variables are no longer reported: assessed value (SEK per square metre of total floor space) and assessed value (SEK million). Information about assessed value can be found in the Statistical database under Real estate tax assessments. As from 2013, the following variables are no longer reported: interest subsidies (SEK millions), interest subsidies in percent of interest rates, and interest subsidies SEK/sqm total area. This is because government interest rate subsidies for new construction and conversion of rental and tenant-owned multi-dwelling buildings have been discontinued completely following a subsidy phase-out that started in 2007. There are no statistics for 2014 because the survey was not carried out that year. From 2007 onwards, costs of conversion and of new construction are not reported for municipal housing companies. In this report, municipal housing companies means joint-stock companies, economic associations or foundations whose activities mainly manages properties with apartments on tenancy rights and previously approved as a municipal housing company. Concerning municipal housing companies, calculated total amounts are affected by non-response and over-coverage in the population. The number of companies in the population varies due to, for example, mergers and divisions of companies and altered shares of non-residential floor space. Results are also affected when companies move between different categories of number of dwellings and due to non-response by different companies from year to year. The result does not reflect the entire stock of municipal housing companies, but rather only refers to municipal housing companies included in the population each year.
