Obs:

Number of buildings for seasonal and secondary use is calculated from the Real Estate Tax Register (FTR) and the date refers to the 1st of January each year. Buildings for seasonal and secondary use is defined as valuation units/assessed units without registered population that are taxed as one- or two-dwelling units (type code 120, 220, 221 or 213). From 2015 the definition of buildings for seasonal and secondary use has changed slightly due to the Swedish tax agency’s change of type codes. Buildings for seasonal and secondary use is now defined as valuation units/assessed units without registered population that are taxed as one- or two-dwelling units (type code 120, 213, 220 or 225). From 2018 type code 113 is included and all valuation units/assessed units with type code 225 are considered as buildings for seasonal and secondary use Only houses that are owned by private persons (including foreign persons without Swedish personal identity number) or estates of deceased persons are included. For agricultural and forestry units (type code 120) also requires that the unit is not active and that there is a housing building on the unit, that applies both before and after 2015. From 2018 only those with business codes for agriculture are counted as active agricultural and forestry units, which means that fewer agricultural units are excluded. The changes made from 2018 means that the number of buildings for seasonal and secondary use increased with approximately 24 000.
